Now the edits, though, and trying to whip it into a shape good enough to find a publisher. One of the most difficult parts of the whole writing process, I find.<strong> WATER MUST FALL<\/strong>\u2019s central conceit: In a world of disappearing water, who gets to drink?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cape Town\u2019s narrowly averted <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.reuters.com\/article\/us-safrica-drought\/cape-town-day-zero-pushed-back-to-2019-as-dams-fill-up-in-south-africa-idUKKCN1HA1LN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DAY ZERO<\/a> almost threatened to take over the book earlier this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other published news<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An interview with me last year by <strong>Rob Malan<\/strong> of the (linked) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scififantasynetwork.com\/nick-wood-interview-building-bridges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sci-Fi and Fantasy Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Writing for the <em>Science Fiction Writers of America<\/em> on (linked) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfwa.org\/2018\/04\/supporting-disability-amongst-writers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Supporting Disability within SF<\/a>.
