I published a few articles; and then got invited by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepelvicpainclinic.co.uk\/pelvic-pain-matters\/\">Pelvic Pain Matters<\/a><\/strong> to present on <em>How to Manage This <\/em>(no easy solutions, unfortunately.) For anyone interested on managing chronic health condition (and perhaps even pelvic pain in particular) you can have a look <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JqHgYLYnXXI&amp;t=39s\">here<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Publisher <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lunapresspublishing.com\/\">Luna Press<\/a><\/strong> interviewed me for my short story collection <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/strangehorizons.com\/non-fiction\/reviews\/learning-monkey-and-crocodile-by-nick-wood\/\">LEARNING MONKEY AND CROCODILE<\/a><\/strong><\/em> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dnKdnaTy5SU\">here<\/a><\/em>. (Yes, I know, I have Covid lock-down hair.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, I presented at the behest of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.psyssa.com\/\">Psychology of South Africa\u2019s (PsySSA)<\/a><\/strong> <em>Climate and Environment Psychology group<\/em> (CEP). The topic? Writing fiction to tackle climate change: i.e. WRITING STORIES TO CHANGE THE WORLD. The presentation can be viewed <a href=\"https:\/\/event.webinarjam.com\/t\/click\/vyo16sqzulktl1c6nwsnzpfqxcv\">here<\/a>, and it includes an inspiring contribution from <strong>Faeza Meyer<\/strong>, founder member of the <strong>African Water Commons Collective<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/African-Water-Commons-Collective-942463132433531\">AWCC<\/a>). \u00a0I have attached slides FYI too, as there was a technical hitch halfway through and no one got to see the outstanding cover <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/file770.com\/watermustfall_wood_sans-2\/\">Vincent Sammy<\/a><\/strong> did for <strong>WATER MUST FALL<\/strong>. A picture to represent our Broken World indeed, but with a woman emerging from the Earth to heal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nickwood.frogwrite.co.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Writing-to-Change-World_NWB.pdf\">Writing-to-Change-World_NWB<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/nickwood.frogwrite.co.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Writing-to-Change-World_NWB.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Women are our best and brightest hope for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbonbrief.org\/tackling-gender-inequality-is-crucial-for-climate-adaptation\">change <\/a>&#8211; let&#8217;s do what we can daily to lift their voices and participation in our society, wherever we may live.
